[mantra-multi][mantra-column width=”2/3″]If you are moving to London this summer, either following graduation, moving house or starting a new job, and you want to continue playing lacrosse, come join us for the 2014/15 SEMLA season.
Spencer LC is one of the few English clubs with 3 senior teams. Novice and those past their best years can enjoy lacrosse with the 3rd team in East Division Three. Intermediate standard players, and this includes most who have played 3 years at University, are ideally suited to the 2nd team in East Division One. Finally those with experience in the top divisions of the NEMLA League, or who are coming over to the UK after playing collegiate lacrosse in North America, will normally find themselves playing 1st team lacrosse within a couple of games.
At Spencer LC we run in-season Monday night floodlit training on the Spencer astro for all senior players. Monday night training will restart on 8th September 2014. Training with the best players in our club, plus coaching from club coach Peter Compton and our 2014/15 Local Development Officer (another graduate from US college Denison), is a guarantee to improve your game.
Join us for our summer training programme which is open to all players, of any experience.
The league season starts the 1st Saturday of October 2014 and runs through until April 2015. All games are Saturday afternoons, normally with a 2pm face-off. Most teams play on grass fields, but a growing number are switching to astro/3G if they can.
Contact us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or via Twitter. Club membership fees apply in October for those who then want to join us for the season. Half-season membership is available for those only in London until December 2014.
