Past Players

Past Local Development Officers

Eddie Vita (Attack – Denison University)
2014-15

Spencer RIEHL (Defence – Denison University)
2013-14: How could an LDO called ‘Spencer’ not be a success! Played close defence or long stick midfield. Also won his fair share or face-off’s with the long pole and showed his all-around talents when he stepped into the lefty attack slot in the Flags Final and came away as top scorer.

Kohl MEYER (Midfield – University of Mary Washington)
2012-13: Fast midfield player who was strong with both hands, Kohl was an asset to the league and flags winning 1st team for this season.

Chris KEOUGH (Defence – Hobart College)
2011-12: Chris was part of one of the most successful years for the Spencer juniors. Also a key member of the 1st team that won the Senior Flags title.

Matt VETTER (Defence – Towson University)
2010-11: Solid defensive player. Worked well with the juniors and the local schools.

Greg LAZARUS (Attack – Saint Michael’s College)
2009-10: With German family ties he was able to play for Germany in the 2010 World Championships and finished the tournament as their top scorer.

Chris ELIA (Attack – Merrimack College)
2008-09: Was he right or left handed? Hard to tell as each side unleashed hell on the opposition goalie. A top bloke and a top lacrosse player. He moved up to Manchester after his year in London, playing and coaching at Stockport LC.

Dustin COOMBE (Attack – South Eastern University, Florida)
2007-08: A nimble athlete who joined the Walcountian Blues for the 2009/10 season.

Jesse CHURCHWARD (Defence – Towsen University)
2006-07: Without doubt the best long stick player we’ve seen in years.

Keith HOLLOWAY (Midfield)
2005-06: Unfortunately Keith was only able to work with us for the first half of this season as he needed to go back to Canada just as he was hitting his prime with the senior team and with his coaching of the juniors and in the local schools.
