The British National Championships (BNC) were held at the beginning of May. Four of the best teenage talent from Spencer represented an England Academy team. The England Academy team finished 6th.

Also a host of players from the Spencer 1st team represented the South team, lead by Joe Darkins, and the South put on their best showing ever, finishing third.
